 If you want to send email messages when you are away from your desktop or laptop computer, you can use your cell phone as an alternative. To send email on your cell phone through Yahoo, you must first ensure that you have a Yahoo ID. If you don't have one, you can easily visit the Yahoo website and click on the "Sign Up" option to get one, then proceed with a few simple steps to send your email message from you cell phone. 1 Ensure that your cell phone has Internet capability. To avoid high data charges, check to see if you are subscribed to a "Data Plan." Contact your mobile service provider to verify. 2 Open the Internet browser application on your mobile phone. 3 Type the Yahoo Mobile Mail URL into the address bar of your Internet browser: "m.yahoo.com/r/mail" (without the quote marks). 4 Enter your Yahoo ID and password. Press the "Sign In" button. 5 Use the scroll or arrow keys on your cell phone until you locate the "Compose" link. Click on the link. 6 Type the email address of the person you are sending the email to. This information should be entered in the "To" field. 7 Type a short summary of what your email message is about in the "Subject" field. 8 Type the message containing all of the words you wish to say in the "Message" field. 9 Press the "Send" button that is located right underneath the "Message" window.
