Step 1 Register your phone with the List Yourself website. This website is able to get your information listed in the databases used by directory assistance companies. Step 2 Register your phone number with Verizon's Superpages. To add your own listing, go to the website and select the "Add or Edit Business" link at the bottom of the page. Step 3 Add your listing to Google Maps. Adding your listing here will allow your information to be included in local web searches and Google's 411-directory service. Step 4 Call Verizon Wireless at 1-800-722-0577. Ask to be included in their foreign listing service. Getting included in this directory required a $9 setup fee and a monthly charge of $1.12. Step 5 Dial your local 411 and ask to have your listing included in the directory. There may be a fee involved, or you may need to purchase a forwarding number. However, depending on your reasons for getting listed, it may be a necessary expense. |
