Determine where you will sell your ice cream from. This can range from a small freezer cart to a van to a large truck. If using a van or a truck that wasn't intended for this purpose, you might need to take it to a body or customization shop to have a window built for you to sell products out of. Once you have decided, visit the Department of Health to have your item inspected.

Contact your local government (as the process varies depending on location) and inquire on how to obtain a "peddler's license" which allows you to sell ice cream and others foods legally.

Decide which types of ice cream you would like to sell. Contact the makers of the ice cream to order the products. Decide how much of each products you will need, and how much you will sell them for.

Establish a route. Decide which communities you will visit. Aim for communities known to have a high concentration of children. You also are likely to find success anywhere near schools, parks, and pools.
